Information:
Menlo
College is a dual member, affiliated with both the NCAA, as a Division
III independent, and as a member of the NAIA and the California Pacific
(Cal Pac) Conference. Because of Menlo's membership in the NCAA Division
III, all scholarships are academic and need based. Below is a list of
sports that compete in the NAIA Cal Pac Conference, and the sports that
participate as a Division III independent:

Eligibility:
In
order to be eligible according to the NAIA, an incoming freshman must
meet 2 out of 3 below eligibility requirements:
-
an 860 SAT, or 18 ACT
-
a 2.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
-
in the top half of the student's graduating class
Incoming
Junior College transfer student-athletes must have accumulated 48 units to participate
in a third season of a sport, and have attained a cumulative GPA of a
2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Student Athletes transferring from a 4 year institution must complete a 16 week residency before
competition, or provide a signed release from their previous 4 year
insitution to Menlo Athletics in order to be immediately eligible to
compete.

NCAA:
Students
must sign a 'consent to drug test' waiver form prior to their season. This waiver must be
filed with the Office of the Athletic Director.
Students
must sign an eligibility statement confirming knowledge that, in order
to be eligible according to DIII rules and regulations, each student
athlete shall be registered in no less than 12.0 units per semester.
At any time, if the student drops below 12.0 units, they will immediately be
declared ineligible.
