OAKS COMPLETE OPENING WEEKEND WITH THREE IN RANKINGS
ATHERTON, Calif. – Menlo College kicked off its season with a weekend of healthy competition and national rankings as the Oaks held their annual Blue-White Intrasquad last Saturday. Menlo also learned that it has three athletes in the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association Preseason Rankings, headlined by top-ranked defending national champion and WCWA Wrestler of the Year Katherine Fulp-Allen. full story
THIRD-PLACE FINISHES FOR FULP-ALLENS AT WORLD TRIALS
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – When a wrestler competes for a spot representing the United States in international competition, anything less than is bound to disappoint. Much to the chagrin of sisters Katherine and Sara Fulp-Allen – current and former Menlo College grapplers, respectively – a third place finish was in the cards for both at the 2009 World Team Trials during the final weekend in May.
