SAARLOUIS, Germany – Former Menlo College standout Kelci Fushikoshi has signed a contract to play for the Saarlouis Royals of Germany’s Damen Basketball Bundesliga (Federal Women’s Basketball League) through the 2010-11 season, the team announced in a press release Thursday. Fushikoshi, a record-setting guard in her four years as an Oak, will suit up for the reigning DBBL champions once her German citizenship paperwork is processed, which could be as soon as this weekend. full story
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NAMED 2008-09 NAIA SCHOLAR TEAM

ATHERTON, Calif. – As if its on-court accomplishments weren’t enough, the Menlo College women’s basketball team was named a 2008-09 NAIA Scholar Team for their exploits in the classroom during the last academic year. The Oaks finished with a team grade point average of 3.17 and was one of 837 teams honored by the NAIA. full story
